A medium-sized multi-disciplinary consultancy that works across a range of sectors including Civil, Planning, Surveying and Structural Engineering. 

Well established, our client has long-standing relationships with their clients and an ongoing (and growing) pipeline of projects. Ongoing workload has driven the need for an experienced Structural Drafter (AutoCAD) to join the team. 

Our client boasts a portfolio of interesting projects, the majority of their work is large-scale projects ranging from industrial and commercial projects to renewables including solar farms and substations.
  
The role & requirements

The opportunity is for a Structural Drafter who can work autonomously as well as support more junior members of the team.

As you progress there is the opportunity to take on more responsibility and progress your career in this growing company. 

• Advanced diploma in structural engineering
• 3+ years as a Structural Drafter
• A comprehensive understanding of CAD production and development 
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to scope the work, gather data, analyse and formulate an opinion and develop a solution or design 
• An underlying knowledge of structures and construction
• Experience in a broad range of project types
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to engage and collaborate with external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate and engage with other internal drafting team members
• Ability to meet deadlines
